Cancellation Policy for Hand-Made and Custom-Made Products

At Lumexa Decor (https://lumexadecor.com), we take pride in offering unique lighting and décor pieces, including hand-crafted and custom-made products tailored to customer preferences. Because many of our products require preparation, customization, or made-to-order production, the manufacturing process often begins shortly after an order is placed.

Please review our cancellation policy carefully before placing your order.

1. General Policy

Standard Products
Orders for standard, non-customized products may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase without any cancellation fee.

Hand-Crafted and Custom Orders
Orders for hand-crafted or custom-made products may also be canceled within 24 hours of purchase without penalty. However, cancellation requests made after 24 hours may incur a cancellation fee due to the personalized nature and production process of these items.

2. Cancellation Fee Structure

Within 24 Hours of Purchase
No cancellation fee will be applied.

After 24 Hours but Before Production Begins
A cancellation fee of 10% of the total order value may be charged to cover administrative handling and initial preparation.

After Production Has Started
A cancellation fee of 20% of the total order value may apply to cover material preparation and labor costs already incurred.

After Production Is Completed
Once production has been completed, orders cannot be canceled, and the full order amount will be charged.

3. Definition of Hand-Crafted and Custom Products

Hand-crafted or custom products refer to items that are created or modified specifically according to a customer's request or specifications. These may include, but are not limited to:

  • Customized sizes or dimensions

  • Personalized engravings or inscriptions

  • Modified designs or special finishes

  • Hand-crafted lighting fixtures or décor pieces

4. How to Request a Cancellation

If you need to cancel an order, please contact our customer support team as soon as possible and include your order number and purchase details.

5. Refund Processing

If your cancellation request is approved and eligible for a refund, the refund will be processed within 7–10 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during purchase.

6. Exceptions

In the rare event that production delays, quality concerns, or other issues occur on our end, customers will be notified promptly and may be offered the option to cancel the order without any cancellation fees.

7. Policy Updates

Lumexa Decor reserves the right to update or modify this cancellation policy at any time. Any changes will be reflected on this page and will apply to orders placed after the updated policy is published.
